Instructional Design Group was formed in 2005 by Leigh Anne McIntyre with the vision that successful consultants in many fields could come together to create a greater impact for companies. By leveraging the talents of many successful consultants, we have created a synergy that offers our clients the best options in all areas of performance improvement. Our team consists of:


Leigh Anne McIntyre

President and Solutions Design Consultant


Leigh Anne McIntyre brings more than 15 years of experience in the fields of instructional design, project management, performance consulting, and facilitation to Instructional Design Group. She has her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from West Georgia State University and her master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Georgia State University.

Previously, as a learning professional at the Federal Reserve System, ADP, National Vision Associates, and GE Capital Card Services, Ms. McIntyre held a wide range of roles including National Trainer, Instructional Writer, Training Project Manager, Performance Technologist, and Performance Development Manager. She has led the development of many performance improvement projects. As a training project manager, she has managed diverse teams, vendors, and turn-key operations. As a consultant, she has worked with clients in government, healthcare, homeland security, finance, software development, telecommunications, and service industries.

Her work includes needs analysis, curriculum management, six sigma, instructional design of ILT and WBT, development of ILT and WBT including SCORM compliance, evaluation, design and development of electronic performance support systems (EPSS), simulations, webinars, learning portal design, 360 feedback system design, evaluation of technologies, technical writing, and the design and implementation of virtual learning communities. She is a member of ASTD nationally and locally.

Ms. McIntyre has won three bronze Telly Awards for her work in training video development. She was published in ISPI’s PerformanceXpress. She has served as a Brandon Hall Learning Award Judge. She has also been awarded the Georgia State University award for Distinguished Contribution to the Application of HRD in the Workplace.


Elise Greene Margol

Instructional Design Consultant


As an Instructional Designer and Performance Consultant, Ms. Margol brings over 11 years of experience designing and developing training curriculum. She has her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Georgia State University.

Ms. Margol has held various training-related positions at Siebel Systems, Interactive Media (a performance improvement firm specializing in the development of interactive learning programs for Fortune 500 clients), NDC Health (formally National Data Corporation), while also serving as an independent consultant. She has completed a range of training-related projects such as:

 

  • Creating web-solutions for classroom-based learning
  • Converting classroom materials to e-learning format
  • Creating paper and web-based performance support tools
  • Creating and managing blended learning solutions.

Shaunda Paden

Performance Technologist


Shaunda Paden is a Certified Performance Technologist, Certified Instructional Designer, and Certified Online Learning Designer who has designed and developed training for companies in a wide variety of industries. Her expertise in developing performance-based training and e-learning has received national and international recognition. In 2002, she was chosen to be a Senior Judge for the Brandon Hall E-learning Excellence Awards. In addition to leading the ASTD Technology-Based Learning Special Interest Group for the past 3 years, Shaunda is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the International Society for Performance Improvement, Society for Technical Communication, and Atlanta Women in Business. She enjoys going to conferences and other networking events.


Ivan Cage

Leadership Consultant and Facilitator


Ivan has more than 16 years of experience in the training industry. He is recognized for his ability to provide viable training programs and processes that link to key organizational objectives. As a performance consultant, Ivan is responsible for developing and delivering training in customer service, eCommerce, marketing, coaching, and management skills, within entrepreneurial organizations and Fortune 500 companies.

Ivan works primarily with professionals in high customer contact functions where performance impacts profit on a daily basis. In addition to world class facilitation, Ivan provides clients with appropriate tools including resource kits, assessment profiles, and leadership evolution techniques to reinforce skill development. He also utilizes his vast experience as a Change Management Coach/facilitator to assist with the acceleration of change within small organizations and large companies.

Prior to consulting, Ivan was involved in Theatre Arts as an actor, producer, and writer. Throughout his career, Ivan has had the opportunity to work in a variety of industries, including: automotive, retail finance, internet, airline, multi media communications and non-profit.

He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (Atlanta chapter and national), the Elliot Masie eLearning forum, an advisory board member for D-ray Space Collective Inc., International Society of Performance Improvement-Member and a volunteer for Big Brother Sister of Metro Atlanta.


Moca Carvalo

Graphic Artist


Since 1998, Moca has been working with various types of digital media including 3D animation, broadcast, graphic and web design. Moca has built an exciting client list that continues to grow, based on her reputation of personal and quality services at competitive prices.

Moca has also worked as a designer and quality engineer for U.S. corporations such as AT&T Learning and Adobe where she was involved with the development of Macromedia Flash 8 software. Other clients she has consulted for include DirectTV, Telefonica, Playboy International, Bacardi, Visa, and Pfizer.

Moca has an extensive network of international resources from around the globe, which she collaborates with depending upon the nature and scope of her clients’ projects.
